Eviatar Shlosberg
Trumpet
Growing up in Boulder, Eviatar developed a passion for jazz and klezmer at a young age. He
graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lawrence University with a bachelors of music in music
education and in trumpet performance. He is currently completing his masters in trumpet
performance at the University of Denver, where he works as a graduate teaching assistant.
Eviatar has been co-running klezmer ensembles since 2021. His Wisconsin-based group the
Klezmommies performed at the LUaroo music festival, Klezmer on Ice and local Jewish
community events. They released their first album, "Running out of Time", in 2022.
Eviatar has performed in the Denver area with a variety of musical groups, including the
Denver Chamber Orchestra, the Colorado Hebrew Chorale and Mountain State Brass Quintet. He
has played in several chamber and orchestral music festivals, such as the Vienna Summer
Music Festival and the Lawrence Chamber Music Festival. He was a 2025 Azrieli scholarship
recipient at Klezkanada. When he isn't performing, Eviatar teaches private lessons and
coaches brass classes. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, mountain biking and weekly
trivia.
Zach Regin
Piano
Zach Regin is a horn player from Bristol, VA who is currently based in Denver, CO. Coming
from a musical family, he began studying music at a young age. He is a previous student of
Dr. Olivier Blakney, Gabriel Kovach and David Byrd-Marrow. He recently completed his
undergraduate degree studying with Carolyn Kunicki at the Lamont School of Music where he
graduated with distinction in the major.
Zach is an alumnus of the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, Brevard Music Center,
Vienna Summer Music Festival and Round Top Festival Institute. He is a previous winner of
the Virginia state MTNA solo competition and a finalist for the Southeast region. He
participated in the 2020 National Honor Orchestra and is a previous member of the Roanoke
Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Symphony of the Mountains Youth Orchestra, where he won the
SMYO concerto competition. Zach was previously a college fellow in the Denver Young Artists
Orchestra, where he coached younger students and led sectionals. Zach has also played as a
substitute musician in the Cornerstone Productions Orchestra, Colorado Chorale Orchestra,
Longmont Symphony Orchestra and Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
Zach has been freelancing in Denver since beginning his studies at the Lamont School of
Music. He was a member of the student led and formed band, BetterWeather. He recorded solo
horn on their debut 2023 album, Wayfare alongside their second album, Next Time.
BetterWeather performed in the Denver area and toured in San Francisco, CA during the summer
of 2023. He is a current member of the newly formed Denver Chamber Orchestra, an up and
coming professional ensemble. With student-formed groups, Zach has been fortunate to be a
member of Lamont's community outreach to the Children's Hospital Colorado and Denver's
Clermont Park retirement community.
Alec Saeva
Clarinet
Alec is the licorice stick connoisseur for kvetchUP and is ecstatic to be part of the band!
In addition to KvetchUP, Alec is pursuing orchestral work in and around Denver, and enjoys
biking, movies, and reading when not practicing or performing music.
Eva Toncheva
Fiddle
Eva is a Bulgarian-Canadian violinist specializing in orchestral performance and recently
reconnecting with her Balkan roots. She holds degrees from the University of British
Columbia and the University of Denver. A versatile musician, Eva is active across Colorado,
Wyoming, and Alberta, and frequently spends summers performing in Europe. Passionate about
leadership, she has held numerous principal positions, serving as concertmaster of the Rocky
Mountain Symphony Orchestra and of the University of Denver's Lamont Symphony Orchestra,
both for three-year terms, and currently as Principal Second Violin with the Cheyenne
Symphony Orchestra. She has also led Prague Summer Nights Music Festival and Lucerne
Festival Contemporary Orchestra. Eva's Bulgarian heritage has inspired her to explore the
Klezmer tradition in its many forms, particularly where it intersects with Balkan folk
music. Beyond the violin, Eva is passionate about adventure and exploration as she walks,
runs, and climbs through various mountain ranges.
Ashley White
Bass
Ashley began playing bass at age 10 at her elementary school in South Carolina. It wasn't
until her 7th grade year that she found her passion for music after joining her local youth
orchestra and playing the main theme from the Indiana Jones movies at a summer camp at
Furman University. She went on to graduate from the South Carolina Governor's School for
the Arts and Humanities, located in Greenville, SC in May 2021. Afterwards, she attended
the University of Denver as a double major in music performance and international studies,
where she recently graduated in June 2025. Currently, Ashley is pursuing a masters degree in
international security at the University of Denver's Korbel School of Global and Public
Affairs.
Outside of coursework and playing bass, Ashley is involved in the Lamont School of Music's
Steel Drum Ensemble, and she is a huge airplane enthusiast.
Chimera Cameron
Percussion
Chimera is a classical percussionist and currently an undergraduate at the Lamont School of
Music.
They love some good Stravinsky or Tchaikovsky, especially the Firebird. They started on
piano and saxophone when they were very young and would later start playing percussion. They
ended up falling in love with the percussion and made it their main instrument.
